BLUE CAVES
Without a doubt you have to visit the beautiful Blue Caves. These incredible geological formations are located in the pretty North East of the island close to the little port of Agios Nikolaos. For the most romantic trip we suggest you book a private trip with one of the companies that operate form there. Take your snorkelling gear and enjoy swimming in the bright blue of the caves.
WINERY AND ART-Romantic Holiday Zakynthos
Set in a stunning location with beautiful views this little winery combines wine and art. Run by a husband and wife team they will show you around the vineyards and at the same time you can see the art that is created by the owner. He is a very accomplished artist for5 the Greek orthodox churches on mainland Greece. You will probably be the only visitors when you arrive so you can receive a very special personalised experience.
The beautiful wine tasting room is a lovely space to sample from their ranges of Reds, Whites and Rosé. Our particular favourite is the Rosé accompanies by a small piece of cheese and their divine home-made fig jam.
SHIPWRECK BEACH
So a trip to Zakynthos wouldn’t be complete without a trip to the famous Navagio beach otherwise known as Shipwreck bay. Although this is without a doubt one of the most beautiful beaches in the world we suggest that in order to ramp up the Romantic levels that you visit it early morning or late afternoon to miss the crowds. Being one the first boats there early morning is a fabulous experience. So get up early. Grab a coffee from one of the port side cafes and head out early.
On your return you can have a leisurely breakfast from one of the pretty little cafes. Our favourite for breakfast is To Nisi Café. A great spot to sit and watch the world go by.

The little port of Agios Nikolas is great place for a romantic lunch right on the sea. We recommend either Madrakia Restaurant or La Storia for the most authentic ‘toes in water’ experience. These traditional Greek Tavernas have picture perfect views and friendly service. Their authentic menus have something for everyone.

Set on top of a hill with the most Magnificat cliff views this restaurant delivers great food and drink in a setting that will blow your mind.
